ZK816 High Modulus Silicone Secondary Sealant for Insulating Glass in Structural Glazing Applications
HITAKOL ZK816 Insulating Glass Silicone Structural Sealant is two-part, neutral curing, high strength silicone sealant as a secondary seal in insulating glass units with structural capabilities. It is ideal as a secondary edge seal for insulating glass in structural glazing applications and ideal for air or gas-filled triple and double insulating glass in structural glazing applications. Excellent UV resistant, provides long-term durability and excellent adhesion to glass and IG spacers.

• Neutral curing, non-corrosive
• Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including coated and reflective glasses, aluminum and steel spacers, and a variety of plastics
• Non-slump, ideal for factory assembly of insulating glass unit parts using automated equipment
• High modulus which limits the stress on the primary sealant and makes it particularly suited for gas-filled insulating glass units
• Structural capability as secondary sealant for insulating glass in structural glazing applications
• Low water absorption and low water vapor transmission rate
• Excellent high and low temperature resistance, good strength and flexibility at -60 °C ~ 180 °C
• Excellent weather resistance, ozone and UV resistance
• Meets GB 24266 Specification for Structurally Glazed Insulating Glass Units
APPLICATIONS:
ZK816 Insulating Glass Silicone Structural Sealant is suitable for structural glazing as secondary sealant for insulating glass units which used in high-rise or super high-rise buildings. Such as Insulating glass unit for hidden framing glass curtain wall, semi-exposed framing glass curtain wall, point-supported glass curtain wall and large-size exposed framing glass curtain wall, etc.

Base (Part A) : White color
Curing agent (Part B) : Black
After thoroughly mixed is Black color
PACKAGING INFORMATION:
Base(Part A) and Curing agent (Part B) are packaged separately.
Base(Part A):200L iron drum
Curing agent (Part B): 20L plastic pail or iron pail.
USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE:
ZK816 Insulating Glass Silicone Structural Sealant should be stored in the original sealed containers at or below 27°C. Both the base(Part A) and the curing agent(Part B) have a shelf life of 12 months from date of production.
