Description
SF9080 is a single-component solvent free polyurethane adhesive, specially used in laminating paper/film and paper/foil. It is workable for both rough side and plain side of paper.

OCHEM SF9080 is a single-component solvent-free polyurethane adhesive are in compliance with the positive lists of the following, internationally accepted guidelines for the production of articles intended to come into indirect contact with food stuff.
- EU RoHS directive (EU) 2015/863 amending Annex II to directive 2011/65/EU
- CFR, title 21, § 175.105 of the FDA, Washington D.C., respectively
- Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the REACH

Typical Features:

Lamination condition:

Precise tension control and proper winding procedure could avoid delamination, tunneling and curling

Cleaning Solvent Ethyl Acetate
Clean: Once the equipment is stopped (over 60 minutes), the solvent/plasticizer mixture is applied to clean the five coating rollers system(should comply with safety rules). The same cleaning procedure should also be performed when the equipment has completely stopped running.

Note : This adhesive is continuously added to the coating gap by conveying by a metering pump with a round disc pressure head. This pressure disc directly insert in our adhesive drums which is fully-opened at top side drum. Please let us know your pressure disc size which shall conform to inner diameter of round drum

Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and ignition sources . Keep container tightly

Attentions

1. When laminating different types of ink or transparent ink film, it is necessary to confirm whether it is suitable
2. The LDPE and CPP films must be corona-treated with a surface tension greater than 40 mN/m. The PA film must be double-corona treated as an intermediate layer. The surface tension of the PET film must not be Less than 52 mN/m.
3. When laminating PET printed film, confirm whether the appearance meets the requirements or not with lab test at first
4. If the contents of the package are corrosive, please confirm and start production
5. The temperature and humidity of the environment have a great influence on the time for storing the configured adhesive. It is recommended to arrange the adhesive in small quantities for a few times in high temperature and high humidity weather to avoid waste
6. During the laminating processing, care must be taken to check and control the viscosity.
7. Residual adhesive: The remaining adhesive cannot be used in principle. If the amount of residual liquid is excessive, it shall be sealed and stored in cool place after dilution, which could be used as diluent for operation in next day, and a small amount shall be little by little added to the newly prepared adhesive solution. It cannot be used any more, if it appears cloudy, translucent or thickened.
8. In actual production, if other types of OCHEM solvent-free adhesive are replaced, the cylinder, pipelines and rollers may not be cleaned. If solvent free adhesives other than OCHEM adhesives are replaced, the user must perform thorough cleaning of the feeding system.
